Marcus Mumford of Mumford And Sons revealed his solo contribution to the soundtrack of the film Inside Llewyn Davis. The song is called ‘”Fare Thee Well (Dink’s Song),” and it features a collaboration with Oscar Isaac, who plays the lead in the Coen Brothers film. The soundtrack for Inside Llewyn Davis will be released on November 12th, while the movie heads to theaters on December 6th.
Other acts on the soundtrack include Justin Timberlake, the Punch Brothers, Dave Van Ronk and Bob Dylan.
Mumford is scheduled to perform at a benefit concert for the National Recording Preservation Foundation on Sunday (September 29th) in New York City. The event will be hosted by the Coen Brothers and will air on Showtime on December 13th.
The concert, called Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of Inside Llewyn Davis, will also feature appearances by Jack White, Joan Baez, and the Avett Brothers.
