Los Angeles act The Neighbourhood has posted a not-safe-for-work music video online for its new song “Afraid,” in which frontman Jesse Rutherford appears not just totally nude, but goes full frontal as he sits in the middle of an empty black room. An edited version of the clip is also available. The song is taken off the band’s debut album, I Love You, and follows up the Modern Rock Top 10 smash, “Sweater Weather.”
“Sweater Weather” has sold more than 500,000 copies and has spent 45 weeks on the Modern Rock chart, including several weeks at Number One.
The Neighbourhood is currently out on a sold-out headlining U.S. tour after spending the summer on a string of dates supporting Imagine Dragons. The next stop on the trek is Nashville on Monday night (October 21st).
The relatively new band formed in California in 2011 but has quickly made a name for itself with relentless touring and slots at high-profile festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza.
