Is anybody relieved to see that Tim Horton’s is laying off employee’s and reorganizing? Maybe they’ll employ people who can brew a decent pot of coffee and don’t put mustard on your BLT when you ask for mayo. (Who the hell mixes up mustard with mayo??)
It’s so weird that a company that seems in zero danger of losing a dominant spot in the coffee market could ever have layoffs, I guess this is from the whole Burger King Acquisition, I just wonder though, where are the jobs that aren’t getting destroyed? What job is safe? Computer-ologist? That’s what you need to be these days, something to do with computers, that’s the future.
“The coffee chain, which was taken over by Burger King Worldwide last year, did not immediately respond to questions about how many employees would be cut at its Oakville, Ont., offices.
Staff at the headquarters are not protected under a promise by Burger King to maintain current job levels at Tim Hortons franchises across Canada for five years.”
