Here are a few things about Imagine Dragons that might have escaped your attention.
(1) They were formed in Provo, Utah, at , the school run by the Mormon Church. Everyone later moved to Las Vegas, which is the hometown of singer Dan Reynolds.
(2) Their big break came in 2009 when the singer of the band Train got sick and couldn’t perform at a big Las Vegas festival. Imagine Dragons were called in at the last second to fill in and they killed it.
And (3) if you have the Night Visions album from 2012 and the new Smoke + Mirrors record, you should know that there were three EPs that came before the first album—and another four that came after and before the new one. If you’re a fan, you might have some gaps to fill.
