When I first heard this song, I thought that the band was just, well, you know, ecstatic. I hadn’t heard of E at the time—I wasn’t part of any rave culture—and loved how they band celebrated their happiness. Duh. Warrior Soul came out of New York in ’87 signed to Geffen for a million dollars, released a debut album and then got lost in the grunge revolution. The band lasted until 1995 before going on a 12-year break. They’re still technically together and still lead by founder Kory Clarke.
