German duo Milky Chance are expanding their North American tour schedule even more, adding a month of dates in July and August to an itinerary that already has the pair on these shores from now through late May. The new stretch of shows begins on July 18th in Ottawa, Canada, ending on August 11th in Portland, Oregon. Along the route the act will stop at events like the Outside Lands Festival, Coachella, the Sasquatch festival and more.
Milky Chance’s current jaunt brings the duo to New York City for a sold-out two-night stand on Tuesday (March 31st) and Wednesday (April 1st).
Pre-sale tickets for the new summer tour dates go on sale at 10:00 a.m. local time at the band’s official website, with general sales starting Friday (April 3rd).
Milky Chance will perform “Flashed Junk Mind” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.
The pair are touring in support of their debut album, Sadnecessary, which came out last October.
The first single, “Stolen Dance,” hit Number One on the Modern Rock radio airplay chart last fall and was lodged there for weeks, with the track still hovering in the Top 10.
