A new study has been released examining how people develop their taste in music and why they continue to like the music they do. People develop their musical taste from the mid-teens until their early 30’s. After that, your taste in music is more or less decided. From that point, the music you listen to in the future will somehow be linked to the taste you acquired earlier in life. This doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy any new music but, simply means the new music you enjoy will be nostalgic of your earlier tastes.
