James Bidgood, an Ontario native and father of three, died in a tragic snowmobile-car accident in February. However, his legacy lives on all over the world.
James was known for regularly buying coffees for random strangers. Someone close to him said that “his love for his family and kids was unbelievable”.
His life-long friend Jason decided to start a social media pay-it-forward campaign earlier this week, asking people to buy coffee for a stranger the next time they visit a coffee shop — as a way to honor James. Since then, it’s gone viral. The movement is known through the hashtag #OneForJames.
Here’s Jason checking out how the campaign was going, 24 hours after the launch:
Such an amazing and touching story. I’ll definitely be paying it forward, as should YOU!
