Florence + The Machine have announced fall North American tour dates in support of the band’s acclaimed new album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful. The trek kicks off in Austin, Texas on October 11th and will continue through October 27th in Seattle. The trip will include two-night stands in Los Angeles on October 16th and 17th and Berkeley, California on October 21st and 22nd.
The British act is also playing this Tuesday (June 9th) in Columbia, Maryland and Wednesday (June 10th) in Boston, before heading to Manchester, Tennessee for sets at the Bonnaroo Festival on the 11th and again on the 14th. Also on tap this summer are headlining slots at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival on July 31st and Chicago’s Lollapalooza on August 2nd.
How Big How Blue How Beautiful came out last Tuesday (June 2nd) and follows up 2011’s Ceremonials, which included the modern rock hits “What The Water Gave Me” and “Shake It Out.”
The first single from the new disc, “What Kind Of Man,” reached the Top 15 at Modern Rock radio. The latest track to hit the airwaves is “Ship To Wreck.”
