Of Mice And Men was forced to cancel the remaining dates of its Full Circle Tour after lead singer Austin Carlile was hospitalized for undisclosed reasons. According to Blabbermouth, the band said in a statement on Sunday (June 7th), “Austin Carlile was admitted to a hospital yesterday morning, and, per doctor’s orders, has been kept in overnight for evaluation.”
Carlile’s hospitalization led the group to scrap shows in San Diego on Sunday night and Mexico City on Tuesday (June 9th). The statement added, “The band regrets not being able to perform for their fans and hopes to be back in both cities as soon as possible.”
Refunds were available for both shows, but the band promised to reschedule both gigs and honor tickets for the original dates.
Of Mice And Men has been out on the road in support of its third album, 2014’s Restoring Force, and its hit single, “Feels Like Forever.”
A double-CD, deluxe reissue of Restoring Force arrived in February and included three brand new songs along with an acoustic version of “Feels Like Forever.”
One of the new songs, “Never Giving Up,” is the group’s current single.
