Back in the 80s, Rupert Hine was The Sh*t. He was a big-time record producer who worked with everyone from Tina Turner to Stevie Nicks to Rush. In fact, he still works as a producer today. And when he wasn’t producing other people’s records, he was making his own.
He recorded some under his own name, under the name Quantum Jump and also as Thinkman, which was essentially Hine with a bunch of guest players like Police guitarist Andy Summers. This is the title track of Thinkman’s 1985 album, The Formula.
