The Only Ones emerged out of the stew that resulted in punk rock but ended up being more power pop than anything else. They released three albums between 1978 and 1980 before breaking up in 1982. There have, however, been several reunions over the years. Blur, Nirvana and the Replacements have all namechecked them as influences. This track was the big hit from their 1978 self-titled debut album.
