If you’re a Canadian musician, you should know about Library and Archives Canada. Its mission to preserve things like music for future generations–and they need your help. If you’ve recorded anything (indie or major label) in any lots greater than four copies, you’re asked to send in at least one of them to the Library. They will add it to the permanent national collection, which can be accessed through a massive searchable database. As a bonus, it helps enforce your copyright of your music.
