Are you tired of your dates not going anywhere? Valentines Day is coming quick and Match.com has put together a bunch of stats to help your odds this year.
The best thing that you can do for a first dinner is to take them out for sushi. Nothing like raw fish to get the good times flowing. In fact going out for sushi will increase your chances of getting a second date by 100 percent. If you’re not a big fish person going to an expensive restaurant will raise your chances by 50 percent and taking your date out for drinks will increase your chances for a second date by 100 percent. That’s all provided your personality isn’t awful.
According to the same study that surveyed 5500 singles on how to get a second date there’s a couple of things that you probably shouldn’t talk about during that first encounter. Talking about your ex is a big no no with only 14 percent of singles being cool with it and sports are another no go on that first date.
This brings us to the next question that Danko Jones has left everyone wondering for years… Do you kiss on the first date?! The study showed that half of the people surveyed were fine with a kiss to end the first date as long as you weren’t misreading the signals.
And if you were thinking about taking things to the next level and moving up to the bedroom after a successful night of sushi and drinking but are worried about it being a one night stand and never seeing that person again well think again. One night stands are being turned into long healthy relationships. That doesn’t mean that you should try it though because that could be one way to make sure you don’t get a second date.
I still don’t know how fish can lead to another chance.
