Even if you’re playing in the Super Bowl you still have to pay for the tickets.
Denver Broncos punter Britton Colquitt had to pay $1800 so that his two week old new born child can watch the game. That’s right even if you’re two weeks old and can’t even sit up on your own let alone take up a seat you still need a ticket to get into the big game.
Each player who makes it to the Super Bowl is allowed up to 15 friends or family members to come. The player gets two free tickets to the game and is responsible for paying for the rest.
You would think that it wouldn’t be too big of a deal to an NFL player who makes millions of dollars per year but that’s still $23,400 worth of tickets. Keep in mind players on the losing team in the Super Bowl still take home an extra $49,000 on top of their regular salaries.
The Denver punter wasn’t too happy about having to pay for his newborn daughter to come to the game but whatever it takes to have the whole family in attendance.
How would you feel about paying the big bucks for a newborn baby?!
