A trip to the airport is about to become slightly more reasonably priced –
The UP Express train, that no one takes because it costs a small fortune (27.50 one way) from Union to Pearson, (and isn’t even actually express because it stops at both Bloor & Weston) is lowering it’s prices! Why? That’s easy because no one is riding it because IT COSTS A SMALL FORTUNE. I’m sorry I don’t mean to yell at you, I get very passionate about reasonable prices.
Anyway, starting March 9th it will run you $12 one way from Union to Pearson down from $27.50, unless you have a Presto card then it’s down to $9 from $19.
If you’re jumping on at Bloor or Weston $5.02 and $4.71 respectively.
