A snowstorm is headed for the city tomorrow. Here are a couple things you could do if you get snowed in.
Binge Watch Netflix
We all have a list of shows that we have wanted to watch for months. Take this opportunity to sit on the couch and watch TV for hours. Popular shows include Fuller House, House of Cards and The Mindy Project.
Finally Finish Reading That Book
Take a break from technology, sit back and read a book. There is probably one that you have been meaning to finish sitting on your bedside table. Whether you get through a couple chapters, or finish the whole thing, your mind will thank you for taking a break from the screen.
Clean Your Room
You have been putting it off for long enough, so just clean your room. There are a ton of organization tips online that can help you wean out what is to keep, what should be donated and what should be thrown out.
Take A Personal Spa Day
Rest and relax if you get the day off of work or school. Take some time to paint your nails, put on a facemask, or even do some yoga. Your body will surely appreciate the extra care and treatment.
Clean Out Your Electronic Junk
If your e-mail inbox has over 100 e-mails, I think it might be time to considering going through and deleting some of that junk mail. Going through your phone contacts and deleting some that you don’t recognize will make you feel better and a lots less cluttered.
Pull Out Those Board Games
Dust off those old board games and start reliving your childhood. Gathering up some friends, make some hot chocolate and get competitive.
Catch Up On Some Sleep
Whether you are over worked or exhausted from studying, taking the extra time to catch up on some sleep will feel so good. Cuddle up on the couch or snuggle up and stay warm all day in your bed.
Play In The Snow
Put on your hats, gloves, scarves, go outside and enjoy the snow. With the expected 15 – 20 centimeters, there will be more than enough to create a beautiful snow angel or a huge snowman.
(Da Mao, at the Toronto Zoo is still learning how fun it is to play in the snow).
