An electrical fire this morning brought the TTC to a halt. Uber did what Uber does in times of need (or greed?) and surged their prices. People were not happy. To be fair, Uber surges prices to get more vehicles on the road to meet the demand.
Do you think Uber is fair to surge the price in times of commuter chaos?
It doesn’t help at ALL that we’re expecting a pretty bad storm to hit around the evening rush hour. I’m sure many people decided to use the TTC this morning to try to get in to work because of the approaching storm.
