On Tuesday, Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles made a sweet deal with The Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund. With $810,368 in funding, the trio will embark on a journey with Trailer Park Boys Out of the Park: Europe. After the government’s former Film Tax Credit offering $24 million was cut last year, protests were held for weeks resulting with the current $10 million fund where film and television projects can receive up to a 25 percent refund on all production and labour costs.
A 10th season is slated to debut March 18th on Netflix and a petition is garnering attention online to have the boys host SNL.
It doesn’t look as if the Trailer Park Boys franchise will come to an end any time soon.
