Death Cab for Cutie and Metric have teamed up for their amazing The Lights on the Horizon tour, which is currently finishing up in Canada. The two bands offer a great show that gave the crowd an amazing experience through music.
Death Cab for Cutie was incredibly energetic on stage, with lead singer Ben Gibbard often jumping around the stage while they were playing their set. The whole crowd was singing while they played their song ‘The Ghosts of Beverly Drive’ off of their 2015 album Kintsugi. Ben Gibbard also sat behind the piano on stage while the band played ‘I Will Possess Your Heart.’
Metric took the stage next. Their set was filled with an incredible light show that was pumping throughout the performance. Lead singer Emily Haines was seen dancing around the stage, often donning a different coloured cape. A choir was even brought on for the song ‘Dreams So Real’ to help sing along. The night closed off with confetti being fired into the arena and a performance of ‘Breathing Underwater.’
The Lights on the Horizon tour ends April 1st but this won’t be the last we see of these bands. Metric is playing at WayHome Music & Arts Festival and Death Cab for Cutie will be playing at Osheaga Festival. Both bands are sure to give amazing performances.
