Leaving your head in the sand. When things happen you should ask why. Have you noticed that seasons really do feel like they’re changing? Well it might be the earth itself shifting on its axis. I’m serious. The polar ice caps are melting and as such the weight distribution on the planet is shifting really dramatically.
I know that seems like a pretty heady concept, but imagine if you’re spinning a ball on your finger. If while it’s spinning you tape a weight to one side, the way it spins will change. Odds are it will be off balance and fall off your finger. Well that’s the way the Earth is too. It spins around while going around the sun. If the angle it faces the sun changes, seasons and temperatures change too.
And that’s what is happening. Ever since the early 2000’s there’s has been a drift of 75 degrees towards the east.
It’s cool. Terrifying, but cool. Now is this what’s causing seasons to change? Who know’s but it’s possible. And if just asking the question makes you angry, that’s bad.
