Downsview Park Earth Day Tree Planting
Every year, Downsview Park runs a free tree-planting event to celebrate Earth Day for charity. This year, they are supporting the North York Harvest Food Band and request that each participant brings in a non-perishable food item.
City Hall and the Toronto sign will bit lit up green in order to celebrate Earth Day.
In reality, we should be celebrating Earth Day every day. If you want to do your part to help protect the planet, organize a clean up in your area or decide to take your bike instead of your car. If everybody does their part then we can keep this planet happy and healthy for many generations to come.
