Peanut Butter and Jelly; Cold Beer and a Hot Summer Day; Hard Rock and NASCAR. Some things were just born to be together.
Hamilton’s own, Monster Truck, decided to take advantage of this undeniable combo by getting in on the race at the Talledega Raceway for the Sparks Energy 300.
The group sponsored the #24 JLG Racing Toyota Camry driven by Brandon McReynolds, and outfit his car with a Sittin’ Heavy (the band’s latest LP) theme.
While McReynolds finished 23rd in the race on Saturday, he at least finished in hard rock-style.
This isn’t the first time Monster Truck have completed a weird sponsorship. Last year, they sponsored a peewee hockey team. Maybe next time they will just bite the bullet, and sponsor a real monster truck!
