With Festival Season underway, let’s learn from the mistakes of others…
For those that have gone to a music festival before, there are many things to expect when it comes to the overall experience at the festival. Get ready for long bathroom lines, dehydration, and for itchy, tan-ruining, festival wristbands. For some, they may be dealing with itchy wrists for longer than they expected.
The Governors Ball music festival, held in New York City over the first weekend of June, just sent out their official wristbands for the 3-day fest. For some of the people who were lucky enough to receive their wristbands this week, they found themselves to be in an unfortunate situation: once they go on, they don’t come off.
@ anyone going to gov ball DO NOT GET EXCITED AND PUT ON YOUR WRISTBAND EARLY IT WILL NOT COME OFF NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY/CRY— annabelle (@annabellehanflg) May 3, 2016
As we can see from this festival goer, she found out the hard way what happens when you slip on that auto-locking wristband. And she wasn’t the only one:
Luckily for these people, they can buy a new wristband for $20 once they get to to festival.
Let this be your warning…
