McDonald’s in the Netherlands has introduced a placemat that you can make your own beats on called McTrax. It’s printed with conductive ink and has 26 touchpoints, each linked to an effect, loop, or synth note.

The only downside is that right now it’s only in the Netherlands, but now you have a second reason to go visit!
