Looking for some fun stuff to do this weekend? Well here’s something..
There are tons of strawberry farms across the GTA where you can take your family/friends/significant other.
If you’re anything like us, you’ll eat half the basket of strawberries before your done but hey, that’s part of the fun!
Mel has an awesome memory of going strawberry picking with her mom and brother. Her brother’s face swelled up like a.. strawberry and that’s how they found out he was allergic! Good times.
Maybe one of your kids is allergic to strawberries and this is one way you can find out!
In the Uxbridge area looking for a good time? Pick some strawberries for yourself at this fun family farm at 1025 Cragg Rd.
Peas, beans, tomatoes, and pumpkins are also available to pick at Forsyth Family Farm! (Not yet, of course. Gosh.)
Ou! Scenic Acres!
This is part of the Scotch Block Winery in Milton at 9365 10 Side Rd. and has 35 acres of strawberries to pick from.
They have some berry wine you should probably check out too, because who doesn’t love berries and wine?
Pick your own strawberries or buy some already picked for you! But super fresh, so obviously better than the grocery store strawberries.
Reesor’s Farm Market is located at 10825 Ninth Line in Markham and you can pick up some homemade jams, freshly baked goods and pies!
