Coined as Montreal’s best café, Café Olimpico has been a tradition since it opened in 1970. This Italian café has the old world charm for all types.
The owner of this place, Marie-Eve was in Australia when she had an idea of opening a coffee shop back in Montreal. This is her gem. This small café is just the place to escape the Montreal traffic. Check them out.
In this coastal city, the weather is a variable but the coffee houses are not. They stay true and are just the escape you might need after a long drive.
As in the title, the pastries are to die for here, but they also have some pretty good coffee. They offer an extensive menu, so it’s worth checking out.
This province surrounded by water is known for potatoes but now also known from some kick ass coffee. Check out these places as you drive to your destination.
This local café offers up some of the best Flat Whites in the city. Located on Queen Street, this café has some great breakfast items too. Check them out.

Yellowknife / North West Territories
If you are planning on going up north to the territories, you should check out some of these places.
While you are up in the North gazing at the midnight sun, you might want to have a go at Javaroma. This place has entertainment and has great food, in addition to roasting their own coffee since 1996. They just had renovations in 2014 and the talent nights are the ones you don’t want to miss.
Midnight Sun Coffee Roasters have been roasting their own beans for 15 years and you can tell that by the taste. This small brewery also offers coffee and people all over the world are raving about it.
Baked Café is another great place to check out and they have different nights from supporting local musicians to having ladies self-care nights. Definitely something to check out if you are in town.
Grind & Brew
An old stomping ground of the locals is the Grind & Brew. They have multiple items available on the menu and a good cup of Joe.
So wherever you are going there is always a cup of coffee or tea calling your name.
