In a match-made from modern-rock heaven, Pearl Jam will be releasing a new live performance LP on Jack White’s, Third Man Records.
Pearl Jam performed a set at Third Man Records’ personal venue, Blue Room, last month. They played the show just ahead of their performance at Bonnaroo. While the night kicked off with a cover of Pink Floyd’s spacey “Interstellar Overdrive,” the 10-song performance also included deep cuts such as Ten‘s “Deep,” Vitalogy‘s “Corduroy,” and “Let Me Sleep,” a song first delivered through the group’s Ten Club 7-inch series in 1991.
Jack White even joined them on stage for “Of the Earth,” with a press release noting that he and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready entered into a lengthy guitar solo battle.
