Turns out Fred and Mel aren’t the only ones that are good at keeping secrets.
Directors, and long time drinking buddies, Stephen Spielberg and Peter Jackson are teaming up for a new movie, but they are not sharing the secret with anybody! Spielberg is currently doing the press rounds for his new animated film, The BFG, and took time out of chatting about the friendly giant to talk about his collaboration with The Hobbit director.
The last time these two famed directors worked together was for The Adventures of Tintin, back in 2011.
Speaking to New Zealand Herald’s Time Out magazine, Spielberg said: “Peter was so busy with The Hobbit that it took him away from Tintin and he’s doing another film for my company now. It’s a secret, nobody knows about it. Then after that he’ll do Tintin.”
Peter Jackson has yet to comment.
Knowing these two directors, who I don’t need to be the one to tell you how awesome they are, this movie will be nothing short of epic, if not visually stunning.
