There haven’t been many major issues in Toronto (*yet), but the Toronto Police are trying to warn Pokemon GO users to be safe in the city on their quest to catch them all.
“We’re trying to send a message and that message is: ‘Be safe.’ Is a Squirtle worth your safety? I don’t believe that it is,” said Const. David Hopkinson to CBC News.
I just got Pokemon GO, and it’s hard not to be caught looking down at your screen. But make sure you take a glance up from your phone every once in a while, alright?
Also, Sick Kids is also asking players to stop dropping lures in and around the hospital. On numerous Pokemon Go Facebook groups, members have been encouraging others to help patients catch Pokemon. And while this seems like an awesome initiative, apparently it’s doing more harm than good.
