Maritime raised and Vancouver based musician Kate Harquail is an up-and-coming folk-rocker. Having been featured on the CBC, she is releasing her first full-length album, “Chapter I”, which she has paired with a tour of Eastern Canada that will be hitting Toronto on August 8th at the Horseshoe Tavern.

Having released a demo in 2010 and a self-titled LP back in 2013 which earned the band a strong regional following, Maryland’s Beelzefuzz is getting set to release a more wide-spread follow-up album, “The Righteous Bloom” on August 19th.

Since forming back in 2009, Montreal’s Elephant Stone have already put out 3 full-length albums. They just released this Pokemon Go styled video for their new single, “Manipulator”, off of their upcoming fourth album, “Ship of Fools”, due out September 16th.

Based out of New South Wales, Australia, this modern New Wave project from singer-songwriter Max Willian-Jones, is getting set to release their debut self-titled EP. The band has drawn comparisons to the Cure, the church and the Go-Betweens.

Drawing their roots heavily from Riot Grrl groups like Sleater-Kinney, L7 and Bikini Kill, this alt-rock duo is getting prepped to drop their debut EP, “Sad”, with themes focusing on challenging the taboos surrounding mental health. The group is closely tied to the DIY punk scene, and has played shows with Toronto’s own PUP.
