So Bleecker Street is actually haunted and it’s pissing off the living, permanent residents in the area.
If you don’t know where Bleecker Street is, it runs parallel to Sherbourne and Parliament Street in downtown Toronto.
Bleecker Street has some of the oldest buildings and hotels in the city and this has been attracting tourists more and more over time, but it’s not just the history that’s getting them there.
These hotels are rumoured to be haunted and tourists are coming from all over to see them and even sleep in them for the night! Crazy people!
Apparently there is a hidden burial ground that these buildings were built on and when it rains the bones like, come up from the ground along with the ghosts!
The dark and stormy nights bring them out but they’re said to live (?) in these buildings day-to-day.
The problem though, that a lot of these permanent residents are having is that short-term rentals are clogging up the streets, making noise and creating an overall nuisance.
Ghosts and young apartment renters! Scary stuff! Check out these ghost tours if you’re interested.
