Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was one of just two people to walk away from a horrific jet plane crash in September 2008. He had terrible burns, required 16 surgeries and nearly had his foot amputated. And naturally, the PTSD he suffered was awful.
Today he’s understandably shy about getting on a plane, something that requires some extra planning when it comes to Blink-182 touring overseas. For a European tour, Travis spent six days on a bus traveling from LA to New York. From there, he boarded a ship that took him to Europe over the course of eleven days.
While the rest of the band was able to get to where they needed to be in 10 hours, Travis needed an extra two-and-a-half weeks. But given what he went through, can you blame him?
