Summer begins to wind down with the opening of the Ex. Carnival bites, sights, and delights will abound with two weeks of rides, food, music and entertainment. Highlights include the Food Truck/Craft Beer fest (Aug 26th-28th) and the Air Show (Sept 3rd-5th)
Fort York, August 19th
This world travelling Electronica festival heads to Toronto for one night Aug 19th with guests Diplo, Grand Theft and more. Tickets start at $46.50.
Bayfront Park, August 20th-21st
Head out of town this weekend and enjoy the third annual Hamilton Beerfest. A massive line-up of brewers and local restaurants are on hand to keep you lubricated. Tickets start at $25.
Toronto Island, August 19th-21st
Check out Wolf Saga, Cloud Nothing and more over at Artscape Gibraltor Point on the Toronto Island. Combining independent art and music Camp Wavelength continues to grow into its 16th year. Passes start at $20.
Bissell Park, Elora, August 19th-21st
An incredibly line-up awaits visitors to Elora for Riverfest 2016. Matthew Good, Hey Rosetta!, Walk Off the Earth and more play over three days of Craft Beer, Food Trucks and more. Tickets start at $55 for the day or $140 for the whole weekend.
Harbourfront, August 19th-21st
Celebrating the tongue tingling flavours of the lower Mississippi all the way down to Mexico; music, food and dance will be taking over the Harbourfront Centre with special events like the South BBQ experience. Admission is free.
Sugar Beach, August 18th-20th
Head down to Sugar beach and enjoy a movie on the water perfect for the whole family. Check out Hook on the 18th, Jumanji on the 19th and all time favorite The Princess Bride on the 20th. Bring a chair to this night time free event.
