Corey Feldman, former child star of classic 80’s movies like Stand By Me, The Goonies, and License To Drive, gave an incredibly… Weird performance on the Today show on Friday, September 16th.
His latest single, “Go 4 It,” is from his new decade-in-the-making album, Angelic 2 the Core. He appeared on the show sporting a Grim Reaper-esque look while the four women in his band were wearing angel costumes.
“The whole theme of the album is good versus evil, heaven versus hell, that sort of thing,” he said. “I know that angels have probably saved me once or twice in my life. And I like helping them as well. That’s why I created Corey’s Angels,” he said, referring to his angelic posse. “It was a way to help girls who were kind of lost and needed to find their way to get their opportunities, their dreams and make them realities. And that’s what we do.”
Corey Feldman explained that his musical style was inspired by the late Michael Jackson.
“It’s kind of a similar style of dance because we grew up dancing together!”
“Go 4 It” is a Snoop Dogg-assisted track. He couldn’t make it so rapper Doc Ice subbed in.
I miss The Lost Boys.
