Lin-Manuel Miranda, the incredibly talented actor/writer/composer/rapper who created and starred in the Broadway musicals Hamilton and In the Heights hosted Saturday Night Live and opened his monologue the only way a Broadway performer could: by turning it into a musical theatre extravaganza!
His opening monologue was a clever re-write of his Hamilton song “My Shot” to include SNL references while rapping his way through the audience. Fast forward a few seconds and Lin-Manuel is backstage proud to earn his spot on the Wall of Hosts. He was then greeted by Lorne Michaels asking for Hamilton tickets before making his way back on stage.
And here we are at the end of this post wanting Hamilton to come to Toronto.
