Kurt Cobain was the body and soul of Nirvana, no question. His raw vocals were a staple of the grunge era, but it’s not hard to imagine Dave Grohl in the vocal role either, what with his success in the Foo Fighters.
A recording has recently surfaced of Dave Grohl providing vocals on “Marigold” from the 1993 album In Utero, the last album Cobain worked on before his death the following year. Dave also plays guitar on this track.
According to Consequence of Sound, the song was originally going to be on Grohl’s solo album called Pocketwatch.
