So sad is the passing of Alan Thicke. Such a good husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace dear Alan.— bob saget (@bobsaget) December 14, 2016
The Canadian is best known for his fatherly role as Jason Seaver on Growing Pains that ran for 7 seasons before ending in 1992. Alan leaves behind his wife Tanya Callau, and three sons Robin, Carter, and Brennan.
Fun fact, Alan wrote the theme son for Growing Pains.
Family, friends, and fans of his work mourn him. Some taking to Twitter to share favourite memories.
