Netflix released the first trailer for ‘Bright’, during last night’s Oscars. It is the follow-up of David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’, set in a world where monsters and people co-exist. Will Smith is teamed up with an Orc cop in this new film. ‘Bright’ is set to be Netflix’s most expensive film, where they have paid $90 million for the film. Be on the look out for this one. Check out the teaser below!
Ayer explained why he chose to bring ‘Bright’ to Netflix.. “Every time someone tries to add reality to some fantastical elements, it’s always some kind of PG-13 kind of movie… This thing’s gonna be hard-R, it’s gonna be very realistic, psychologically realistic, which I think lets us push the fantastical elements even more. It’s gonna be grounded and real and I think it’s gonna straddle a lot of genres. It’s gonna be one for the books.”
Well that sounds promising! Probably going to be graphic too! ‘Bright’ isn’t due out until December, so they have lots of time to make it as good as they’re saying.. Will Smith with an Orc for a partner sounds like a good premise already! Only time will tell. Read more here..
