Vesuvio Pizzeria & Spaghetti House – 3014 Dundas St. W, Toronto
The King of Toronto grease wheels!!! I finish my radio show up on Saturday night the the first thing I’m doing is ordering a Pizza from Vesuvio. Not too thin, not too doughy (is that a word?) just right.
Maker Pizza – 59 Cameron St, Toronto
This is a newer Toronto Pizza spot that has been open a few years. The pizza’s are all pretty unique, toppings like honey, sesame seeds, roasted squash, cumin, pumpkin seeds. Things you wouldn’t necessarily put on your pie but they are all really tasty.
Pizzeria Libretto – 221 Ossington Ave, Toronto
Probably my favouite pizza spot to go to if I’m not ordering in. They have locations on Ossington, King St. W, University Ave, and the Danforth and all of them have a great vibe. You cant beat their lunch special – salad, pizza, and gelato for $16.00. Thin crust done perfect.
FBI Pizza – 2336 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke
Really simple pizza and that’s what is great about it. Doesn’t get any simpler than their NYC Cheese Pizza – cheese, red sauce, sliced garlic. Totally delicious.
Descendant Pizza – 1168 Queen St E, Toronto
There are only a few deep dish spots in Toronto. But, this one is my go-to. Super filling pizza’s so don’t make plans to go out after you eat here. Unless the plan is to find a place to discuss how full you are.
