Memorize these points next time you’re trying to convince a friend (or just yourself) that you should have a drink before bed.
Helps with insomnia
Beer, man. It’s proven to stimulate dopamine, which is what doctors prescribe to patients suffering from insomnia. It makes you feel calm and relaxed. Something I’m sure we can all attest to.
Good for your heart
Dark beers (stouts and ales) can reduce your chances of having a heart attack. There is science proving this, and some science that says it does very little. They’re not saying you should replace your current efforts to be healthy by drinking more beer, but like when you’re drinking beer as you do, know it’s probably helping you out a little.
Helps with your cholesterol
Here’s a good one. Moderate drinking is actually better for your cholesterol than not drinking AT ALL. Who knew!? Thank you Pennsylvania State University for this one.
WINE!!! I was waiting for this one.
Before you go to bed, drink two glasses of wine and it’ll help you lose weight. The grapes and the way they react to your fat is how it all happens. Apparently women who drink two glasses of wine before bed are 70% less likely to be overweight.
Also, drinking wine in the evening will help you avoid snacking.
LOOK AT THAT! Tell your friends (and most importantly yourself) that you’re on the wine diet. Or something.
Drink responsibly and now, healthily!
Yes, healthily is a word.
