People are unreasonably pressing the emergency strips on the GO train and Anne Marie Aikins, the GOTransit spokesperson, has some stuff to say about. She tweeted out some of the weirdest reasons people are doing it and wants people to take note that pressing the emergency strip 1) delays everybody on your train and 2) could leave you with a fine up to $150.
Pressing these emergency strips require the bus to pull over, causing a delay between 10 and 30 minutes… Sometime even more.
A lot of these things are understandably annoying but they are definitely NOT WORTH PRESSING THE EMERGENCY STRIP. We all have places to be, people.
