It has been two weeks since the loss of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, but his impact still holds heavy in the the hearts of fans.
A new mural in Los Angeles, California, is causing traffic build-ups, as passing cars are slowing down to take-in the new mural.
We are honored to have such an amazing tribute to Chester on the wall of our building, and overwhelmed by the response from fans in the local community and all over the world. Thanks again @never1959, @_kryst_ and @mr_kub_ . Thank you @kroq for acknowledging this incredible artwork. And thank you, Chester for all the art you've produced over the years.
Los Angeles muralist Jonas Never, who “grew up listening to Linkin Park”, recently finished a memorial for the 41-year-old singer.
The mural was painted on the wall of Rock n Pies Pizza Co, a pizzeria bordering the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles and has already garnered a huge amount of interest.
“When Jonas was working on it, everyone in their cars on the 101 were beeping their horns and cheering him on. It was pretty cool. Now there’s something to look at while you’re stuck in traffic,” he added.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic in LA, here’s a spot where you can enjoy the view. Just make sure to blare some LP!
