3 “Haunted” places to visit this Halloween:
1. Keg Mansion
Its a 2 in 1 at the Keg Mansion, you enter to eat and might leave with some ghostly encounters. The former Massey mansion is supposedly home to a number of ghosts, including the Massey’s only daughter who died in the house and one of the family’s maids who hung herself in the foyer. Some dinner guests say the ghost of a little boy haunts the stairwell.
2. Queens Park
Before Queen’s Park was built in 1893, there was another building at that location: an insane asylum. As such, many a person has claimed to see disturbed female ghosts moving erratically about the grounds.
3. Gibraltar Point Lighthouse
Downtown Toronto is not the only hot spot for paranormal activity. Head over to the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse on the inner harbour of Centre Island and you may come face-to face with the lighthouse’s first keeper, John Paul Radelmüller.
