On Tuesday, Google affiliate Project Wing announced a new test for its drone delivery service with two Australian businesses, a drugstore company and a burrito chain. The test is taking place in Canberra, where most residents “face up to 40-minute round trip in a car to get anywhere”.
This isn’t the first time a drone has delivered food. Amazon delivered a bag of popcorn in the U.K. last December. Domino’s also announced they’re starting to work on devices to drop pizza off to customers.
The future is looking a looking bright! And convenient! And delicious!
