Three hoodie-clad thieves in San Francisco are on the lam after stealing over $300,000 worth of iPhone X’s from a UPS truck earlier this week. Apparently they didn’t want to have to wait in line like so many others did in anticipation of the Friday morning release. It’s believed that the thieves tracked the truck, and when the driver went to make another delivery they broke in stealing approximately 300 of the coveted iPhones. The “X” or “ten” is a benchmark for the company being the first to break the $1000 price tag. It features facial recognition because the future is now, and something called “Animoji Karaoke” which is either really cool or really disturbing.

The stolen phones do contain serial numbers; so maybe don’t buy that cheap iPhone X from the dude in a van outside the mall.
