In an interview on BBC Radio 1 last week Liam Gallagher mocked Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ performance on Later… with Jools Holland that featured somebody playing a pair of scissors.
The younger Gallagher brother then took the joke a step further sending out a request via Twitter for someone to come peel potatoes on stage at his upcoming gig.
Im looking for somebody to peel some spuds live on stage tnight at this gig in Bethnal Green must have own peeler as you were LG x

Ask and you shall receive, Liam. Someone actually showed up to the show, potato and peeler in hand, and proceeded to peel potatoes throughout the set.

Liam later praised the potato-peeling fan on Twitter.
To the peeler who peeled his little heart out lastnight you my friend are truly out there psychedelic even as you were King Parka Monkey x

Meanwhile, in an interview with i-D this week Noel said that Wall of Glass sounds like “Adele shouting into a bucket” and that he can’t be arsed to form an opinion on “a record that’s written by an army of songwriters.” Let’s hope this feud never ends.
