Alien Movies Again

In case you guys don’t know, I am very much into aliens and alien movies. Heck, my arm has War of the Worlds aliens blowing stuff up tattooed all over it. I just wanted to take this opportunity to talk about new alien movies that are coming out at the end of the year and all of next year. I feel we are about to be pleasantly surprised with the amount of awesomeness that is to be dropped upon us in the near future.
First off, Skyline (http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/universal/skyline/) looks quite awesome. The movie seems to be based around Stephen Hawking’s theory on aliens coming to Earth to colonize it and take it over, like in the same fashion as Napoleon did with the Native Americans. Sunday was the STP show at the ACC and it got me thinking about how wicked the 90’s were. The Music, TV shows and movies were all awesome; and Flannel shirts were way less of a fashion statement. Bands like Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Primus, Soundgarden, Tool and Pearl Jam were all killer and still are. Seeing bands like Stone temple Pilots and Soundgarden making comebacks makes all warm and fuzzy inside. Not only was the music wicked but so were the TV shows. Remember how much funnier Simpsons used to be? I actually stayed in on Sundays so I could watch the new episodes at 8pm. Fresh Prince, South Park, Married With Children and Seinfeld are a couple more to add to the list. We were also blessed with some wicked movies in the 90’s Forrest Gump, Billy Madison Tommy Boy and again much more. Damn the 90’s were cool.
