Thousands are filling city streets Sunday afternoon for the annual World Partnership Walk, which is aimed at ending world poverty.
The walk has thousands of marchers making their way to and from Metro Hall and Queens Park with the majority of the route on University Ave.
Road closures are as follows:
Wellington St. W. John Street To York St. 10:30a.m., -1:30 p.m.,
N/B University Ave. Front Street To College Street 11 a.m., – 12:30 p.m.,
S/B University Ave. Front Street To College Street 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.,
Walkathon Route: (Commences at 11 a.m.,)
Formation Area Metro Hall
Eastbound King Street West (Eastbound Curblane ONLY) AND
Eastbound Wellington St. W.
Southbound Simcoe Street (2 Westerly lanes ONLY)
Eastbound Wellington Street West (Full Roadway)
Northbound University Avenue (Northbound Lanes)
Northbound Queen’s Park (Northbound Lanes)
Turn Around Queen’s Park at south end of Queens Park Crescent
Southbound Queen’s Park (Southbound Lanes)
Southbound University Avenue (Southbound Lanes)
Westbound Wellington Street West (Full Roadway)
