It's going to be tough to beat the heat today.
Toronto's Medical Officer of Health has issued a heat alert for Monday as temperatures are expected to reach 33 C.
The city asks the public to keep an eye on family, friends, neighbours and people who are at a greater risk to suffer from heat-related illnesses.
People are also encouraged to keep their cool by visiting public, air-conditioned spaces including, shopping malls, local libraries and community centres.
